My siblings and I got wonderfully illustrated cards as rewards for when we studied well, cleaned up our toys, practiced piano, read a lot of books, etc. When we collected enough cards, she would take us to the 5 & 10 to buy a toy. When we were bad, she would take a card away. I think they really worked.<br /><br />Oh, what I wouldn't give now to have one of those certificates now!
